The Dark Room is a black comedy about a rogue producer’s attempt to revive a flagging reality TV show. Set in the future, in a small shack on the edge of the Olympic Village, Michael Mundy (James Smith, The Thick of It, In the Loop BBC and BBC Films) is running “The Dark Room”, a new format show where contestants wake up in a black room only to find a computer containing their most intimate secrets. Each contestant must perform a task to stop their secrets being revealed. Like all other reality shows, The Dark Room is on the verge of being dropped, but series producer Michael has a trick up his sleeve…
