Rob PetitMilkwood Productions
Rob Petit works as an independent filmmaker and editor in a range of fields spanning from documentaries and shorts to music videos and broadcasting. He is currently also David Lean scholar at the NFTS, studying a masters in Directing Fiction. Rob has been involved in a number of independent film projects, which have been selected for festivals including Rotterdam. His short film ‘The Pool’ was also selected for the Future Shorts catalogue. Rob also has a diverse range of clients that include big brands, production companies, TV channels and websites.
In 2007 he set up Milkwood, a creative film partnership, with filmmaker Nick Parish. With Milkwood, he is pursuing a number of exciting independent projects including a short animation and two short comedy dramas. These projects link together the themes of surveillance, the future and community while also exploring the new possibilities offered by the web for delivery and exhibition. Rob is currently busy preparing for the apocalypse.
